Robinson R22.
Reworked and additional views ( defined by camera definitions in the sim.cfg file in this particular case ) for the beautiful default ( Microsoft ) Robinson R22.
10 cameras pointing at the aircraft and 3 additional cameras inside.
See Read me.txt file for very easy installation procedures.
Also included is a text file that contains the new camera definitions. Enjoy !
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
0 - Make sure FSX is not running.
1 - Make a copy of your sim.cfg file.
2 - Open the sim.cfg file.
3 - Select all existing camera definitions and deleted them. <------------------ IMPORTANT !!
4 - Open the camera definitions.txt file provided by me.
5 - Select and copy all the camera definitions.
6 - Paste the new camera definitions into the sim.cfg file. ( I suggest the bottom of the file ).
7 - Save the sim.cfg file.
8 - Start FSX, select the Robinson R22 and enjoy !
A FEW TIPS
1 - I strongly recommend the use of the mouse for "swinging" around ( panning ) most cameras.
Activation : SHIFT + O ( the letter O ).
Temporary fixation of the camera on something specific : SPACE BAR.
Deactivation : CRTL + SPACE BAR : brings the camera to its original position.
NOTE : the mouse is much more sensitive than a joystick's hat switch. So move it slowly.
2 - Instructions on how-to removed a view you don't like are now in camera definitions.txt file.
Microsoft aircrafts and helicopters don't come with the required parameter in their cam def.
I added it for obvious reason. But if you start doing your own cam views by copiying a original ( Microsoft ) cam def, remember to add the said parameter.
Liability :
- Please take note that I assume no responsability for any ( extremely improbable ) damages to your FSX installation or your computer. As always with donwloaded files, you use them at your own risks.
Acknowledgements :
Thanks to Microsoft for providing such a wonderful software as Flight Simulator for 25 years.
