FSX Kiel-Canal Scenery

Kiel Canal scenery refines northern Germany’s waterways in FSX by excluding default canal bridges and replacing them with 42 m-high versions that better match real-world structures. Added flatten polygons clean up gaps along the canal, plus the Elbe from the North Sea to Hamburg and the Weser from the North Sea to Bremen, with non-existent bridges removed.

Kiel-Canal Scenery.

The the FSX-bridges at Kiel-Canal/Germany are excluded and replaced by 42 m high bridges (as in real). Some flatten-polygons are added to the canal to fill gaps. Flatten-polys are also added for river Elbe from the sea to Hamburg and for river Weser from the sea to Bremen. In real not existing bridges are excluded.

Install:

Copy the BGL-files to your "....FS-X\Addon Scenery\Scenery" folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
