Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center scenery brings the Boeing Hangar and Space Hangar to Washington Dulles (KIAD), complete with a museum-style aircraft lineup for convincing ramp-side tours. Built for FSX, it models the iconic display halls and populates them with classics such as Concorde, a 747, and the SR-71.

This is scenery for the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Washington-Dulles Airport. This adds the Boeing Hanger and Space Hanger. This scenery also fills the hangers with aircraft such as the Concorde, 747, and SR-71. I tried the make it as real as possible but most of the historical aircraft are not made in FSX. Some the the aircraft were switched such as the 707 for the 747. To tour the center start at the Washington-Dulles Airport at runway 1R and turn around. Use slew mode to tour the buildings. MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF 'CRASHES' IN THE REALISM SETTINGS TO ENTER THE BUILDINGS.

To enter the buildings just slew through the side of the hanger.

FOR FSX ACCELERATION! *Will work without acceleration but with less aircraft.

-To Install:
Place the .bgl file in your Hard Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
