FSX Japan Okinawa Offshore Scenery

Japan Okinawa Offshore scenery brings a compact U.S. Navy battlegroup alongside Japanese Self-Defense Force ships anchored off Okinawa, with additional vessels moored in Isa Bay. Designed for FSX, every ship is landable, creating new low-level sightseeing routes and helicopter or STOL practice near MCAS and local air bases.

This scenery package contains scenery for FSX ONLY "Japan Okinawa Offshore Is only tested in FSX. This package places a small U.S. Battlegroup With the Japanese Self Defense Force at anchor offshore of Okinawa Japan. It also places several vessels at anchorage in Isa Bay. All ships are landable.

To Use: Put the "Japan Okinawa OffShore.bgl" in your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder followed by placing all the model folders in your Addon Scenery Folder, start sim and add the ships in manually to your Addon scenery.

Start from either the MCAS or AFB listed under Japan, Okinawa and you can't miss them.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
