FSX Burlington International Scenery

Burlington International Airport (KBTV) in Burlington, Vermont gets a refined layout for FSX, with corrected aprons, taxiways, and roads plus accurate gate assignments. Expanded cargo, GA, and military parking, new National Guard areas with static helicopters, upgraded buildings, fire and maintenance facilities, and stock-library vehicles create a fuller, more authentic airfield.

Burlington International Airport (KBTV), Burlington, Vermont (VT). An improved version with adjusted aprons, taxiways and roads, proper gate assignments, added parking, buildings and more. By Jim Cook.

Burlington International Scenery.

Here is an improved version of the stock Burlington International Airport. I added and adjusted aprons, taxiways, and roads. Airlines have the proper gate assignments. I added Cargo parking, GA parking, Military_Cargo and Military_Combat parking at the Air National Guard apron. I added the Army National Guard apron and static helicopters. I added the Fire Station, maintenance building and equipment, static vehicles and aircraft. I replaced most default buildings and removed a tall tower that was right in the middle of the airport.

Burlington, VT is on the shore of Lake Champlain.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files KBTV_AFX_JC.bgl and KBTV_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
