Cairngorm Gliding Club at Feshiebridge near Aviemore brings a dedicated Scottish gliding field to life, framed by the dramatic Cairngorm mountains and Sgoran Dubh Mor on the horizon. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X default scenery, it adds a focused airfield layout and on-field details suited to soaring and winch-style operations.

Cairngorm Gliding Club. Feshiebridge (Cairngorm Gliding Club), Aviemore, Scotland, UK. Situated in the Heart of the Cairngorms, Feshiebridge is the home to the Cairngorm Gliding Club surrounded by high mountains with the 111mt (3663 foot) high Sgoran Dubh Mor just east of the field. Situated in the Heart of the Cairngorms, Feshiebridge is surrounded by high mountains with the 111mt (3663ft) high Sgoran Dubh Mor just East of the field. Designed for use with the default FSX Scenery

Unzip the zip file into an empty folder then copy the Feshiebridge folder including the 2 subfolders onto your hard drive. Start flight sim the go into World-Scenery Library and find and delect the Feshiebridge folder. Click OK and your scenery will now be active. The airport can be found in your GO-TO-MENU under UNITED-KINGDOM, note the - hyphen.

For users of Northern Microlights copy the scenery and texture files into the scenery and texture folders in Northern-Microlights.

If you have alredy downloaded East-Lochlane copy the files from Feshiebridge into the scenery and texture folders of East Lochlane don't have both areas running together as you wil be running duplicate texture files and may get a conflict.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
