FSX Mustang Beach Airport Scenery

Mustang Beach Airport (KRAS) in Port Aransas, Texas brings a more detailed coastal airfield to FSX with an expanded layout and extra space for personal object placement. Built with Airport Design Editor and default library assets, it refreshes the FS9 version while keeping performance-friendly scenery objects already included in the simulator.

Mustang Beach Airport Scenery.

Simply put the ADEX files into your FSX/addon scenery/scenery.

All objects are already in your FSX library.

This is a expanded version from the FS9 version with additional area for you to add objects, etc.

THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS ARE INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER AND WILL AFFECT YOUR VIEWING BEING DIFFERENT FROM THESE SCREENSHOTS. Some items may be out of place:

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
