Copy the bgc folder onto your hard drive and either use as is or for users of Northern/Midland microlight copy the contents of the scenery and texture foldes into the relevant folders within Neil's Microlights do not overwrite when asked.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Hi, This comment is about the Bowland's Gliding Club scenery for FS. (Didn't say that before).

    Try as I might, I can't seem to get this to work. It SEEMS to install, FS rebuilds scenery database, etc, but when I try to find it in the location, it's not there. I've tried searching for Bowland, chipping, bgc but to no avail.

    I'm ok with installing scenery, I build my own. So I'm interested if anyone else is having problems. This seems to be a great feat of work, and am looking forward to using it. I do a lot of gliding in FS.
