FSX Auckland International Airport Scenery

Auckland International Airport (NZAA) updates the stock field in FSX by removing the disused runway 05L/23R and replacing it with Taxiway A while preserving the look of remaining markings. It also deletes the bridge object near the 23R threshold and improves apron layout for cleaner ground operations.

Scenery Auckland International Airport (NZAA) 05L/23R removal for stock FSX NZAA scenery. Removes the (now disused) runway 05L/23R, replacing it with taxiway A. In reality, much of the old markings are still there and the lights have only been de-activated. Other tweaks include removal of the bridge object before the 23R threshold and various apron enhancements.

For STOCK FSX NZAA scenery.

Removes the (now disused) runway 05L/23R - replacing it with taxiway "A". In reality, much of the old markings are still there - only the lights have been removed/de-activated.

Other tweaks include removal of the bridge object before the 23R threshold and various apron enhancements.

1) Extract to FSX root (or to a scenery directory of your choice).
2) Add/enable the scenery in FSX.

The stock FSX NZAA file is APX94450.bgl - you may want to rename that if there are any conflicts. File amended with Flight1 AFX.

Tweak is Freeware.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
