FSX Itxassou Scenery

Itxassou Airfield (LFIX) brings a small Pyrenees-Atlantiques commune to life with an accurately placed runway, updated airport layout, and region-appropriate scenery for low-and-slow flying in southwest France. Built with ADE and SBuilderX for FSX, it requires SP2 Acceleration and pairs well with UTX Europe.

A small grass airstrip with two hangars and a single parked aircraft sits in a hilly rural landscape labeled LFIX - Itxassou.

Scenery Itxassou (LFIX), Aquitaine, France, v1.0. Tested with SP2 Acceleration + UTX Europe. Itxassou is a commune in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques department in Aquitaine in south-western France. By Stephane Gouzon.

This file adds Airfield Itxassou in FSX. It was made with ADE (Airport Design Editor) and SbuilderX.
Thank you to the respective authors.

Installation:

- Unzip the archive into a temporary folder.
- Copy the folder "LFIX - Itxassou" in the addon scenery folder of FSX.
- Delete the temporary folder.
- Start FSX.
- Add and declare the scene in the FSX scenery library.

This file is a freeware.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
