FSX / P3D scenery

FSX Fictional Airport At Peterhead Scenery

Peterhead’s fictional EGJC airport brings a fresh destination to northeast Scotland with a custom layout built in Airport Design Editor, showing on GPS for easy navigation and local VFR practice. Designed for FSX, the scenery adds a believable airfield footprint to the area and supports simple arrival, landing, and saved-start operations.

Fictional airport created with Airport Design Editor.

I haven't found out how to make this interact with FSX yet, ie, it isn't searchable in the airport menue and no other planes have come to visit so you'll have to fly there ,land and save, however it does show on the GPS AND typing in EGJC will show as Peterhead.

Use this at your own risk, I accept no responsibility for any problems that may occur. All i can say is it works fine with my setup [FSX GOLD Acceleration].

Put the two BGL files into the scenery folder inside the addon scenery folder.Take note of the file names so you can delete if necessary [I STRONGLY RECOMEND YOU DON'T OvERWRITE ANYTHING IF PROMPED When installing]. I'm still learning and still working on it so if it's of any use to you look out for updates later on.

CONSTRUCTIVE Criticisim is welcome, If you think it's rubbish then delete it.

Cheers,
Ham

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
