Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (KASE) scenery refreshes Colorado’s mountain gateway in FSX by updating runway 15/33 with the 1,000-foot extension completed on 11/30/2011. It aligns the airfield layout with the airport master plan, supporting realistic operations and improved capacity for regional airline traffic.

Aspen-Pitkin County Airport Scenery (KASE), Colorado (CO). This scenery adds the recent 1000 foot extension to runway 15/33. By Trevor Guglielmino.

This updates the runway as of 11/30/2011 when construction on the 1000' foot extentaion of runway 15/33 was completed. This was a part of the airport master plan to allow the Skywest, Republic, and American Eagle flights to the airport to operate under full capacity.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Download the file onto your desktop.

2. Extract the Aspen Scenery file to your desktop.

3. Drag the .BGL files into your FSX\ADDON_SCENERY\Scenery\ folder.

4. Enjoy!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
