FSX Ithaca-Tomkins County Airport Scenery

Ithaca-Tompkins County Airport (KITH) scenery refreshes the default field in New York for FSX with reworked aprons, taxiways, and roads, plus a new terminal featuring gates and a jetway. It adds a more realistic control tower, replaces and expands airport buildings including the fire station, and places airline gate assignments, static vehicles, and aircraft using stock objects.

Ithaca-Tomkins County Airport (KITH), New York (NY). Here is an improved version of the stock Ithaca-Tomkins Co. Regional Airport. Includes adjusted aprons, taxiways and roads to match the actual airport. Adds a new terminal with gates and a jetway and replaces the control tower with a more realistic one. Replaces most default buildings and adds others including the fire station. Assigns airlines to the gates, adds static vehicles and aircraft and other objects. By Jim Cook.

Ithaca-Tomkins County Airport Scenery.

I highly recommend the use of "Low 'n Slow" landclass for New York State.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files KITH_AFX_JC.bgl and KITH_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
