The model depicted in this file is owned by the Royal Nepal Airlines. It features a striped red white and blue tail as well as distinctive writing along the sides and body. The Boeing 757 is one of the most popular jets of all time. The plane features a narrow body twin engine jet that uses turbofan engines.

For reduced drag the plan also features a supercritical wing design. The plane can carry between 200 and 300 passengers for a maximum of 4000 nautical miles. The plane was first flown in February of 1982. Production for the plane was active between 1983 and 2004 with over 1000 models built during that time.

The Boeing 757 can travel at speeds over 500 MPH and was designed for medium and short range routes. Many variants of the 757 model were produced with the most popular being the commercial 757-200.

The Royal Nepal Airlines is the main airlines of Nepal. The airlines main base is Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The airline was established in 1958 operating at the time with just one Douglas DC-3. Currently the airlines operates seven aircraft and flies to nearly 40 destinations. The airline recently came to a deal with jet producer Airbus to acquire one A330 and one A320.
