Childress Municipal’s two published approaches use different navigation methods—RNAV (GPS) and VOR—but both serve the same runway end. Published instrument access is therefore concentrated on one direction, with no approach procedure for the other three ends. The two runway alignments provide different headings, although 18/36 offers 1,524 ft more pavement length than 04/22.
Hollis Municipal, Altus/Quartz Mountain Regional and Wilbarger County have chart coverage matching Childress in overall count. Dan E Richards Municipal has a notably thinner set, while Scott Field falls between them. The Dallas–Ft Worth Sectional supplies the broader VFR context absent from the terminal procedures; there is no separately published airport diagram for Childress.
