Dalhart Muni has three approaches serving only two of its four runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated rather than available for every alignment. The two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide satellite-based options, while the VOR procedure adds a conventional alternative. Runway 17/35 is 960 ft longer than 03/21, giving the field two alignments and a clear difference in available runway length.
Moore County, Clayton Muni Airpark and Hutchinson County have chart sets closest in breadth to Dalhart Muni’s. Gruver Muni has slightly thinner coverage, while Boise City’s two-chart set is the most limited among the listed nearby fields. The Albuquerque, Dallas-Ft Worth and Wichita sectionals add broader VFR context beyond the terminal procedures.
