Moore County’s two published approaches are both RNAV (GPS) procedures and serve only two of the airport’s four runway ends. The remaining ends therefore have no published instrument approach, while GPS is the only approach type represented. Runway 01/19 is 2,901 ft longer than 14/32, making runway length a much greater constraint on the shorter alignment. No dedicated airport diagram accompanies the procedures.
Dalhart Municipal and Hutchinson County have chart sets comparable in scale to Moore County’s, while Gruver Municipal and Tradewind have thinner coverage. Rick Husband Amarillo International stands apart with a substantially broader procedure set. The Albuquerque, Dallas–Ft Worth and Wichita sectionals add the wider visual-navigation context that the airport’s instrument procedures and minimums sheets do not provide.
