Deming Municipal’s five approaches serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument procedure. Four are RNAV (GPS), so GPS procedures dominate the set, while the single VOR approach provides a different procedure type. The two runway alignments offer distinct length choices: 08/26 is 2,343 ft longer than 04/22, a substantial difference when matching available runway length to an aircraft.
Grant County and Las Cruces International have chart sets of broadly comparable depth, while Dona Ana County International Jetport’s two published charts provide much thinner coverage. Deming also lies on both the Albuquerque and El Paso sectionals, adding broad-area VFR context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
