Concentrated instrument coverage

Las Cruces Intl has three runway alignments, yet its instrument approaches serve only two runway ends. The three approach plates provide ILS/localiser and RNAV (GPS) options, concentrating instrument access on a limited part of the runway configuration rather than covering each alignment. The shortest runway still exceeds 6,000 ft, while the other two are about 7,500 ft, so substantial runway length is available on all three alignments.

Coverage beyond LRU

Nearby chart coverage varies sharply. Biggs AAF and Deming Muni have sets comparable in size to Las Cruces, while Dona Ana County Intl Jetport is much thinner. El Paso Intl and Holloman AFB have considerably broader procedure sets. The Albuquerque Sectional adds wider VFR navigation context beyond the airport diagram and terminal procedures.
