Instrument coverage on both alignments

Pangborn Memorial’s sole 7,000 ft runway has published approaches to both ends, so instrument arrivals are not concentrated on one alignment. The six approaches are divided evenly among ILS, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, providing several forms of instrument guidance for a single-runway field. With no crossing runway, the chart set offers no second runway orientation.

Regional chart context

Grant County International and Yakima Air Terminal/McAllister Field have broader procedure collections, with 20 charts apiece. Bowers Field, Ephrata Municipal and Grand Coulee Dam have much thinner coverage, at five or six charts each. The Seattle Sectional adds wider visual-navigation context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
