Bowers Field’s four published approaches divide evenly between RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, but all serve a single end of runway 11/29. The practical distinction is therefore not runway alignment, but the choice between two navigation methods for the same arrival direction; the reciprocal end has no published instrument approach. With one 4,300 ft runway, every published instrument arrival ultimately uses the same strip.
Yakima Air Terminal/McAllister Field and Grant County International have the broadest nearby procedure sets, while Pangborn Memorial has more coverage than Bowers Field but less than either of those airports. Ephrata Municipal is closest in scale, with a similarly thin set. The Seattle Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Ellensburg that the instrument procedures do not provide.
