El Paso International’s approach set is strongly weighted towards RNAV (GPS), while ILS, localiser and VOR procedures retain conventional options. Five of the six runway ends are served, giving instrument coverage across both runway orientations but leaving one end without a published approach. The 12,020 ft and 9,025 ft runways support operations with substantially greater runway-length requirements than the 5,499 ft parallel runway.
Nearby procedure coverage is much thinner: Biggs AAF and Las Cruces International each have six charts, while Dona Ana County International Jetport has only two. The Albuquerque and El Paso sectional charts add broader VFR context around the terminal area that is not provided by the airport’s instrument procedures.
