Renner Field has three runway alignments, yet published approaches serve only three of the six runway ends. The five approach charts provide varied guidance within that concentration: ILS and localiser capability, three RNAV (GPS) procedures and a VOR procedure. The 5,499 ft concrete runway offers 1,498 ft more length than the other concrete runway, while the 1,754 ft turf strip is a distinctly shorter option rather than an equivalent third runway.
Kit Carson County has the nearest comparably broad procedure set, with six charts against Goodland’s eight. Shalz Field and Cheyenne County Municipal have somewhat thinner coverage, while Oakley Municipal and especially Atwood/Rawlins County have much smaller sets. The Wichita Sectional adds the broader visual and airspace context absent from the terminal procedures.
