Hawkins Field’s three approach charts collectively provide ILS, localiser and two RNAV (GPS) procedures, with coverage reaching two runway ends. This gives the field both precision and satellite-based options, but not approach coverage for every end of its two-runway layout. Runway 16/34 is 1,956 ft longer than 11/29, a substantial difference when matching an aircraft’s runway requirement to the available alignment.
Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International has the broadest nearby procedure set, while Bruce Campbell Field and John Bell Williams have chart coverage close in scale to Hawkins Field. Copiah County and Yazoo County are covered much more thinly. The Memphis Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context that the airport diagram and terminal procedures do not provide.
