Cincinnati Municipal/Lunken Field has published approaches to three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a procedure. The mix of an ILS, a localiser and three RNAV (GPS) approaches provides both ground-based and satellite-guided options across four approach plates. Runway 03/21 is 974 ft longer than 07/25, while the two runway alignments provide more than one directional choice.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International has a substantially broader procedure set nearby. Clermont County and Butler County Regional/Hogan Field are closer to Lunken’s level of chart coverage, while Cincinnati West and Warren County/John Lane Field have much thinner sets. The Cincinnati Terminal Area Chart adds detailed local VFR context, with the Cincinnati and St Louis sectionals providing broader regional coverage beyond the instrument procedures.
