Mountain Home AFB’s procedure set is concentrated on its sole runway: all eight approaches serve the two ends of Runway 12/30. The even split between ILS and localiser procedures provides both precision and localiser-only options, while no departure procedures are published. At 13,510 ft, the runway offers substantial distance for aircraft with long take-off or landing requirements, but there is no second alignment.
Boise has by far the broadest nearby procedure coverage. Nampa’s set is much thinner, while Mountain Home Municipal, Caldwell Executive and Gooding have fewer charts still. The Salt Lake City Sectional adds wider VFR aeronautical context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
