Portales Municipal has two runway alignments, but its sole instrument approach is an RNAV (GPS) procedure serving just one of the four runway ends. Instrument arrivals are therefore concentrated on a single end, while the other three have no published approach. Runway 01/19 is 1,140 ft longer than 08/26, so any operation requiring more than 4,560 ft is confined to that alignment. No airport diagram is published.
