Tri Cities Exec/Dinwiddie County has instrument approaches to both ends of its sole runway, avoiding a one-direction-only chart set. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures are complemented by VOR and localiser approaches, providing both satellite-based and ground-based procedure types. With one 5,002 ft runway, there is no second alignment available; its length is therefore the defining runway constraint for aircraft planning.
Richmond International’s 31-chart collection is substantially broader than the coverage at PTB or any other listed nearby field. Blackstone AAF is closest in scale with seven charts, while Richmond Executive, New Kent County and Wakefield Municipal have thinner sets of four or five. The Washington Sectional adds the surrounding visual-navigation context not provided by the airport’s terminal procedures.
