Approach and runway coverage

Reading’s instrument coverage reaches all four ends of its two runway alignments. The six approach plates collectively provide ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures, so no runway end is omitted from the published approach set. Runway 13/31 provides 1,199 ft more length than 18/36, a meaningful difference when matching available runway distance to take-off and landing requirements. An airport diagram and separate hot spot chart add dedicated ground-movement detail.

Regional chart context

Lancaster has slightly broader procedure coverage than Reading, while Heritage Field has a smaller but still substantial set. Pottstown Municipal, Deck and Keller Brothers are covered much more thinly. For VFR context, the New York Sectional supplies the wider regional view, complemented by the more focused Philadelphia Terminal Area Chart.
