Lancaster’s instrument procedures serve all four runway ends, rather than concentrating access on one alignment. The mix of ILS and localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures also provides several forms of guidance. An airport diagram completes the set for interpreting the two-runway layout.
Runway 08/26 provides 2,831 ft more length than 13/31. Any operation requiring more than 4,102 ft of runway is therefore limited to 08/26, while the shorter runway supplies a second alignment. Among nearby fields, Chester County G O Carlson has the closest comparable breadth of published chart coverage; Keller Brothers, Donegal Springs Airpark, Deck and Reigle Field have much thinner sets. The New York and Washington sectionals add wider VFR context, while the Philadelphia Terminal Area Chart supplies more detailed coverage around the airport.
