Grand Canyon Regional has GPS approaches to two of its four runway ends, leaving the remaining pair without published instrument approaches. The 3,597 ft asphalt runway provides substantially more usable length than the 1,576 ft turf runway, so the latter accommodates a much narrower range of aircraft requirements. No airport diagram is published, making this a notably compact procedure set.
Elmira/Corning Regional and Williamsport Regional have the broadest nearby chart coverage, while Wellsville’s total matches Grand Canyon Regional’s and William T Piper Memorial and Hornell Municipal have thinner sets. Coverage on both the Detroit and New York sectionals adds the wider geographical relationship between Wellsboro and these surrounding fields, which the airport’s approach charts do not provide.
