AFX For KJFK

KJFK’s Parkway Visual Runway 13L/31R Canarsie approach gains corrected lead-in lighting for more authentic night arrivals and better visual cues on final. Built with an Airport Facilitator X edit of the stock airport, it updates John F. Kennedy International Airport in Microsoft Flight Simulator X and pairs well with road traffic for added realism.

AFX For KJFK, John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, NY. Corrects the lead-in lights for the Parkway Visual runway 13L/R approach (aka Canarsie approach). By Hartwig Rohrbeck.

This is to add the lead in lights for the Parkway Visual Rwy 13L/R Approach. Aka Canarsie Approach. I used Airport Facilitator X and modified the stock airport. Place AFX_KJFK.bgl in ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator x\Addon Scenery\scenery.

Allow 50% Road Vehicle traffic go Options > Settings > Display > Traffic > Land and sea traffic.

Thanks to John Bell and Howard Walker for this information and Glen Broome (Glen did a FS9 Version) for helping me.

Have fun,

Hartwig Rohrbeck

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

does this work for the latest version of P3D. I had your addon for FSX and it was great I since changed to P3D and hopefully the lead in lights for JFK 13L/R are good for P3D.
