AFX File For SPIM

SPIM Jorge Chávez International Airport receives a rebuilt AFCAD aligned to Google Earth imagery, refining gates, taxiways, parking, vehicle routes, apron polygons, tower placement, and perimeter fencing. Repositioned terminal elevation keeps jetways clear, added north-side hangars enhance the ramp, and included landclass removes stray trees while improving surrounding urban and agricultural textures in FSX.

AFX File For SPIM, Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chavez, Lima Peru. The gates, nodes, taxiways, vehicle paths, apron polygons, control tower and fences have been relocated to conform to Google Earth aerial photographs. By Eric G. Hansen.

The default terminal building has been moved further back and raised so the jetways will not ride over the top. Some generic hangers have been added to the north parking area.

A new landclass has been included to prevent trees from popping up in the middle of the new tarmac and additional urban and agricultural areas have been added to match aerial photographs

The .bgl files should be placed in any folder that is registered in your scenery library in FSX. The files are compiled with an FSX compiler and probably will not work properly in FS9.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
