RCTP Taoyuan International Airport AFCAD refines the default Taipei layout in Microsoft Flight Simulator X by removing surplus gates, correcting gate numbers, and assigning terminals to major airlines. It also adds realistic north-apron cargo stands, replaces generic EVA apron parking with EVA and EVA Cargo spaces, and updates the airport name to Taoyuan International.

Updated version of the airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCTP Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. The default RCTP airport scenery in FSX is quite elaborate, but unfortunately has too many and wrongly numbered gates. This file removes the extra gates, assigns correct gates and terminals to all the major airlines, and adds realistic cargo parking spaces in the north aprons. General parking on the EVA apron has been replaced by EVA and EVA Cargo spaces. The airport has been renamed as it has in real life, to "Taoyuan International". Tested with World of AI only. Parking for Taiwan-China direct flights at Terminal 2 for Chinese carriers provided. Tested with World of AI only.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.
