FS2004 McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30

McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 brings the stretched, final-generation MD airliner to FS2004 with a long 153-foot fuselage, capacity up to 172 passengers, and big rear-mounted International Aero Engines. A detailed model includes an operational virtual cockpit panel, animated passenger and cargo doors, tailhook-controlled rear stairs, and base textures for repainting.

The last of the MD line, it was also the largest. The fuselage is stretched to an exaggerated 153 feet, allowing it to carry up to 172 passengers. Its International Aero engines are the largest ever mounted on the rear of an airliner. By Mike Stone.

This aircraft is built for FS2004. The aircraft should work in FS2002, but I long longer directly support it. I know that the GPS gauge used in the panel will not work in FS2002.

The base textures folder in this zip file contains base (unpainted) texture files for use in repainting.

Note that the aircraft supplied in this package is supplied as is. If there are problems, I'll fix them or not at my discretion. I will not make modifications, alternate versions, or any other changes to suit anyone's personal wishes. If you like this aircraft, use it with my blessings. If not, feel free to delete it and go elsewhere.

Installation:

Simply copy the entire "md_90" folder contained in this zip file to the "/Flight Simulator 9/aircraft" folder on your PC.

Note that Shift-E-1 opens the main passenger door, Shift-E-2 opens the cargo hatches. The rear stairs are controlled by the tailhook function. You may have to assign a hotkey to the tailhook for it to work.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per readme

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
