You are Marilyn Whirlwind, a fat Eskimo woman from Chefornak in a region now called Alaska where your people have lived for thousands of years. You are also a kick ass Dehavilland Twin Otter pilot! Sometimes you are asked to take the kids to school in Nunapichuk (quite near Bethel the big city). This is one of those mornings. By Pierre G. Shlimon.

I love trying out new missions in FSX and whilst this was a bit of a weird one – I never got a plane to school! – I was very impressed by its unique nature and its quirky style. Taking the role of Marilyn Whirlwind on, you’re going to have to fly your kids to school since you refuse to move from Chefornak, Alaska.
Instead of letting the kids go without you instead decide to take them to school every morning through the super common medium of uh…flying!
This is one of those really interesting mission packs that you can just laugh your way through. Its rather unique in that it asks you to hit certain targets and fly following the specific checkpoints. Given who is on your aircraft when you fly it helps to take precautions and I felt that the writers of this package done a wonderful job of making that clear.
I was really impressed with the general attitude and style of this mission as it managed to stay firmly tongue in cheek whilst giving us something funny and engaging. The aircraft is very well put together and has that kind of ‘family’ feel – it’s got those cool little quirks that make every aircraft feel different.
I was really impressed with the story, the layout and the theme of the mission. It might be one that you only fly through a few times but even just for the unique part of the map you’ll be taking in makes this a huge amount of fun to fly around with.
I would happily recommend this to anyone who wants to see what flying around Alaska can be like. You’ll have to make a smart landing to get into the airport in Nunapichuk, so be sure to bring your game here!
