La Isabela International Airport (JBQ/MDJB) scenery recreates Santo Domingo’s modern domestic gateway with detailed airport layout and photoreal ground textures across a 5 km radius. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it captures the 2006 replacement for Herrera with an immersive apron, runway environment, and Caribbean setting.

La Isabela International Airport (IATA: JBQ, ICAO: MDJB). The airport opened in February 2006 to replace Herrera International Airport. It serves mostly the Dominican Republic with domestic flights and some international flights to other Caribbean islands. This scenery is the Vol. 1 of a series of updates that you will make in the future, contains photoreal terrain in 5 km radius. By Luis Bobea.

INSTALLATION:

  1. Copy and paste into the directory of the addon scenery flight simulator x: / microsoft games / flight simulator x / addon scenery /
  2. From the simulator menu, go to settings, library settings, and add new and close.
  3. Enjoy!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
