FSX Texture Mod - AB/BC/AK Mountians, V1.02

AB, BC, and Alaska mountain scenery gains a more natural look in Microsoft Flight Simulator X by repurposing built-in terrain textures to cut back pale desert tones, deepen rocky slopes, and add greener base layers with smoother transitions. Darker slide areas and refined snow coverage reduce blocky shadowing and reveal more mountain rock.

This file was created modify the existing textures with FSX to offer a better representation of AB, BC, AK mountain regions. No textures are included in this modification. The batch file simply copies and renames more apporprate existing textures from within FSX - to be applied for these regions. Overall it reduces the amount of light desert textures, gives you more rock where there was sand, provides a greener sub base and transitions, darker mountian slides, and reduces the plain white snow coverage in the mountains allowing more rock to be shown. Blocky shadows in snow are now minimal, due to the snow textures changes and contrast in terrain. The attached coveragemap.jpg shows the area this modification will effect.
