De Havilland DHC6 Twin Otter pilots gain a refreshed set of camera angles for wheel and float variants, plus the DHC6-100, with eight exterior views and six virtual cockpit perspectives for better spotting, approaches, and cockpit workflow in FSX. Reworked and additional views (defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file) for the De Havilland Twin Otter in both its wheels and floats versions plus the DHC6-100 with a really cool skydivers jumping out of the plane special effect all (except skydivers) by Premier Aircraft Design. A total of eight cameras pointing at the aircraft and six virtual cockpit cameras. By Marc Renaud.

Installation:

  • FSX can be running while installing BUT the aircraft currently selected must NOT be the one being upgraded.
  • Make a copy of your aircraft.cfg file.
  • Open the aircraft.cfg file.
  • Open the camera definitions.txt file provided by me.
  • Select and copy all the camera definitions.
  • Paste the new camera definitions into the aircraft.cfg file. (I suggest the bottom of the file).
  • Save the aircraft.cfg file.
  • Start FSX, select the aircraft and enjoy. If FSX, is already running, simply switch to the upgraded aircraft.

Enjoy!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
