FSX Inagua - The Bahamas

Inagua’s MYIG brings the Bahamas’ southernmost airport and nearby Matthew Town salt works to life with custom objects, improved landclass, and corrected airport positioning for more authentic island operations in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Built from local photos plus Google Earth and Bing references, it runs with or without UTX-TAC and requires Very Dense scenery complexity.

MYIG is the southernmost airport in the Bahamas. At nearby Matthew Town is the Morton Salt Company's main facility - Inagua's main industry. The scenery includes custom scenery objects; placement of library objects and landclass changes. The airport is also moved to its proper location. Scenery is based on Google Earth and Microsoft Bing imagery and photos taken locally, and it is optimized for use with or without UTX-TAC. By Art Poole.

Extract the zip file and move the MYIG folder to the "Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery" folder and then add this folder to the scenery list in FSX settings. The Models folder and other files are not needed in FSX. Users of UTX-TAC should disable it's changes to MYIG to prevent duplication of airport objects (Terrain menu>Modify Status of Repositioned Airports).

For all scenery objects to display, the Scenery Complexity slider in Scenery settings must be set to "Very Dense". If you have KB_static_aircraft_FSX installed (available at www.kb-sim.com/screens_static_aircraft.html), additional parked aircraft will be visible. Some small scenery objects require FSX Acceleration.

This airport can be further modified by the user with Airport Design Editor (freeware, but worth a donation). The Models folder contains all of the models compiled in the MYIG_ADEX_AP.BGL file.

To revert back to FSX default, uncheck MYIG in the AddOn Scenery list.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
