FS2004 Virgin Atlantic Vickers Viscount 806 1984/1990

Virgin Atlantic’s Vickers Viscount 806 is recreated for FS2004 as a classic turboprop airliner with smooth flight dynamics, detailed textures, and full animations, capturing its 1984–1990 shuttle role into Gatwick. It uses default 747 panel and King Air sounds, and supports expanded Viscount panels and audio packs for added authenticity.

A classic turbo prop airliner by Rick Piper, with full animation plus all the usual refinements. Virgin Atlantic used the Viscount as a shuttle aircraft between Holland and Gatwick. Textures by Tony Madge.

Originally registered in 1956 as G-AOYP for BEA the aircraft was used from approx 1984 to 1990 by Virgin Atlantic as a shuttle for routes from Holland and I believe Dublin to Gatwick. re-registered as G-PFBT and used in its later years as a cargo aircrfat for Parcel Force. The aircraft was in 1999 sold to Equatorial Guinea there onwards I have no knowledge of her.

To Install just unzip the file to your aircraft folder in fs2004, everything else will be done for you. I have aliased the panel to the default 747 and sound to the Kingair, however this is only to get you up and running please visit Rick Pipers web site where you can get more Viscounts than you can shake a stick at plus a panel and sounds!! The file sizes were too big for this file plus I think YOU SHOULD visit his brilliant web site and see what superb classic creations he has done for FS.
