FS2004 Austrian Airlines Douglas DC-3D OE-LBD

Austrian Airlines Douglas DC-3D OE-LBD brings a historically grounded 1960s domestic look to FS2004, portraying C/N 42976 from the final Oklahoma City production batch built from canceled C-117 parts. The package combines John Kelly’s base model with Daniel Nole’s authentic repaint plus tuned flight dynamics for classic piston-airliner handling.

C/N 42976, ex SE-CFW with Linjeflyg and OY-DCY, later transferred to Capella Aircharter as SE-CFW. Destroyed while used by Hilair. This plane was part of the last 28 DC-3's built by Douglas at Oklahoma City from parts of a Army C-117 order canceled after VJ Day. Austrian Airlines started domestic services with the DC3 in May 1963; the airline operated with two C-47A's and two DC-3D's in the 60's. Original by John Kelly. Repaint and flight dynamics by Daniel Nole.
