A repaint (textures and model only) of Tom Gibson's and Greg Pepper's Gmax DC-7C in the delivery colors of Swiss Air Lines in 1957. Repaint by Wayne Tudor.
Screenshot of Swissair Douglas DC-7C in flight.
It was produced using the DC-7 Paint Kit. You must have Tom and Greg's DC-7C to use these textures. The included model file is a recently modified version which more closely captures the distinctive shape of the vertical fin and has round tipped propellers.
This aircraft, HB-IBL c/n 45062, is depicted as it appeared shortly after delivery to Swissaair in 1957.
- Copy the included texture.SWR folder to your DC-7C aircraft folder.

- Add the following section to your DC-7C aircraft.cfg file, numbering it in sequence.
title=Douglas DC-7C Swissair
description=The DC-7C was a complete redesign abandoning the wing of the DC-4 allowing a further substantial increase in fuel and oil capacity. Updated engines gave slightly more power for take off and climb, but since the DC-7C was 17,000lbs heavier than the DC-7B performance was significantly reduced.
