FS2004 Orange Lockheed L749 Constellation

Orange Air France Lockheed L-749 Constellation repaint depicts airframe F-ZVMV, the former N86520/XA-GOQ testbed later preserved at Le Bourget, with crisp period markings for authentic classic propliner flights in FS2004. Textures only, and requires the Manfred Jahn Team 749 L-749 Constellation base package.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

This particular Lockheed Constellation (C/n 2503) had as registration N86520, XA-GOQ and F-BAZR under the colors of Air France. At last, from 1971 to 1974, it was registered F-ZVMV. The plane was used as a flying test bed for any experiment purposes. The plane was then transferred to the Musee de l'Air at Le Bourget. A repaint of the L-749 Constellation by the team of Manfred Jahn and Co. (Team 749). Textures only. The Lockheed L-749 Constellation base kit (LOCKHEED749.ZIP) must be installed. This download requires the previous installation of the Lockheed L-749 Constellation package for FS2004/FSX.

  • Unzip l749_f-zvmv.zip to a temporary folder, ensuring that you retain folder names.
  • Within the download, move the texture folder 'texture.F-ZVMV' to the folder 'LOCKHEED_L749_1' within your 'Microsoft Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft' folder.
  • Open the aircraft.cfg with a text editor. Enter the following section under the last [flightsim.XX] entry, numbering it sequentially:
