Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Flight Dynamics 3.0 refines realism with a revised aero and engine model, improved supercharger and manifold pressure behavior, and richer hydraulic, electrical, anti-ice, and instrument systems for authentic operations in FS2004 and FSX. It requires Manfred Jahn and Team 1049’s L-1649A base package.

Changes included in the FDE upgrade:

  • Revised aerodynamic and engine model for more realistic performance.
  • New manifold pressure model:
  • Ram air effect.
  • Air intake heat and alternate intake air.
  • New supercharger effect.
  • Revised supercharger lever settings.
  • New anti-ice fluid level gauge and system.
  • New hydraulic system:
  • 2 separate hydraulic circuits.
  • Hydraulic pump pressure warning lights.
  • Emergency brake system.
  • New electric system:
  • Modified AC and DC voltmeter, new DC voltmeter selector switch.
  • Modified panel instruments.
  • Modified radio stack with second ADF receiver.
  • Modified RMI with second ADF needle.
  • Modified CHT system and gauge.
  • Flight director system.
  • New FE manifold pressure gauge faces showing 10/15% lean mixture limits.
  • New icons for 10/15% lean mixture=

Optional for FS9:

  • New fuel dump system with more realistic fuel dump.
  • Orientation of emergency shutoff levers corrected.
  • Revised automatic engine start for more realistic start sequence.
