FSX Spotlight replaces the default spotlight texture to give runway and taxiway illumination a cleaner, more focused beam for night operations, improving depth perception during taxi, takeoff, and landing. Designed as a simple visual enhancement, it refreshes exterior lighting without changing aircraft systems or requiring extra dependencies.

Simply start out by backing up the spotlight.bmp texture from this location:
(E.G) C:\Program Files\Microsfot Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Texture
When this is done, copy and paste into the folder above overwriting the previous one.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
