FS2004 FACT AFCAD2 File

Cape Town International Airport (FACT) receives a faithful AFCAD2 layout update for FS2004, guided by South African CAA data to improve AI flow and parking variety. It adds 10 heavy stands, 18 small gates, and 30 general aviation spots, balancing realism with simulator constraints, and requires AFCAD 2.04.

FACT, Cape Town International Airport, South Africa. This upgrade is based on the South African CAA document and provides parking for 10 heavy and 18 small gates plus 30 general aviation of all types. Some parking has been omitted because of lack of space on the airport. The parking for the GA small and medium is not realistic, as flightsim does not have the correct parking areas, but this gets the aircraft in without add-ons. By V.F. Holderness.

At last! Now I can get my heavies into Cape Town. KLM have just joined SAA, BA and Virgin in providing direct flights between Cape Town and Europe. Many other airlines have a service via Johannesburg (FAJS). KLM's flight is KL597 outbound, arriving FACT at 0730Z and will become a daily service by the end of this year.

Installation: You must have AFCAD 204 installed. Just move the unzipped file fact4vfh.bgl into your FS2004 file Addon Scenery\scenery and when next you load FS2004 the new parking will be installed. If you don't like it, just delete it and the original file will be activated at the next load.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per readme

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
