FS2004 Russian AFCAD2 Files V2

Russian and former Soviet Union airport AFCAD2 updates sharpen taxiway layouts, parking, and AI flow across roughly 100 fields, using real-world charts where default scenery permits and extending to select add-on airports. For FS2004, the package refreshes runway markings and lighting, plus practical parking radii and alternate stands for more believable traffic.

Some 100 airports included. Made according to the real airport charts as far as the default scenery allows. Some AFCAD2's are for non-default scenery. Adjustments include airport lighting and runway markings are redone on all fields; some more airports added.

This is a collection of AFCAD's for the former Soviet Union. As this is a work-in-progress, some are unfinished. Some are the work of different authors,but are included to at least provide some AI larger than a Cessna flying around in other places than the cruise levels.

Lights are on a look-like basis, as AFCAD doesn't provide the correct lighting schemes at the moment. All files are meant for the default airports, unless stated otherwise in this readme.

Parking space sizes are according t the PAI Recommended radius settings, as far as the charts can be trusted. Alternate parking spots are includes as long as they don't block the normal ones. There is NO overflow parking, you won't need that in most cases anyway.

IMPORTANT: If you have the previous version installed, CHECK FOR DUPLICATES as some filenames are changed. Overwrite existing files if asked.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
