FS2004 AFCAD2 File KALB

Albany International Airport (KALB) gets a more complete AFCAD layout for FS2004, adding missing gates and parking with correct airline assignments, expanded cargo stands, and clearer apron taxiway centerlines with lighting. The file also includes an improved tower view and works best with AFCAD2 for optional edits and parking code support.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

KALB, Albany International Airport, New York (NY). Adds missing gates/parking and assigned the correct airlines. By Peter Backhaus.

I have added missing gates/parking and assigned the correct airlines. (Parking south of the terminal is not the same as the real Albany and will be fixed in future updates.) I've tried to moves the gates as close to the building as we can, but since Microsoft has made the buildings too small, gate C3 hangs out past the building. I've also made more spots in the cargo parking and have assigned them the proper parking codes. To minimize confusion, apron taxiways only have a solid center line with lights. I have also included an accurate tower view.

Installation:

Just move KALB.bgl from where you zipped it to (Your FS Folder)\Addon Scenery\Scenery.

If you have AFCAD2 by Lee Swordy on your computer, you should be able to edit the modified (MOD) version. Feel free to edit and do what you choose to it, but if you post it please inform me about it.

Please add these airlines (alphabetically) to your ParkingSpecs.txt so Independence AIR (IDE) and Trans States (TWX) work:

Trans States,20,140,170,TWX

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per readme

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
