FSX Area 51 B-2 Spirit Skin Pack 1

Area 51 B-2A Spirit repaint pack refreshes the stealth bomber’s markings with corrected serial year for 82-1068 and properly ordered “Spirit of New York” and “WM” gear-door stencils, plus two additional Spirit airframes with subtle texture variations for fleet variety in FSX. Requires the Area 51 B-2 model.

Here is the corrected version of the default B-2A texture from Area 51, plus two more "Spirit" bombers. Area 51 had the incorrect year for 82-1068 (default was drawn as 02-1068) and the "Spirit of New York" name and "WM" were placed in reverse order on the main gear doors. These textures correct this and add a few mods to the textures to give some variety to each jet. By Jeff Stoermer.

To install, unzip and allow to over-write your existing texture folder inside the Area 51 B-2. Add the following text to your aircraft.cfg file and enjoy flying some new aircraft.

This is Pack 1. I plan on doing a few more jets as I get time.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D livery / repaint

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
